That statistic is Correct. Wolf Creek Ski Area got 99 inches of snow in the last 7 days.
Add to that $27 lift tickets for locals day and you have the formula for a good long day of powder skiing. To all my east Coast Friends and Family, you might be thinking... "What the hell is powder?" Well, did you know that out here they have snow that is soft . Snow doesn't have to be hard packed and icy... what a concept
What a fabulous day.
That snow bank behind the car is like 9 feet tall. And we couldn't get away without looking at my serious hathead... :)

Hi Dave and family, I finally got to look at your blog. Karen had seen earlier. It looks like you picked the year for snow in CO. We are very snowy here too, though not 99 inches yet. We are getting close. We lost most in the Jan. thaw, and now have a foot on the ground again. We had a good time in PA for Christmas week. The girls are busy, as are we. Laurel came down with chicken pox, and now I have it too. Laurel had the vaccine, and I think I had the pox as a child - go figure. You have some great pictures, and I checked out the cohouse site too. What number home are you in? Is Sue back east just for a visit? Hope all is well-
